An Answer To Prayer

PRAY

An Answer to Prayer

We pray about many things,
Some for us, some for others,
Seeking an answer to prayer
So we can have our druthers.

Sometimes we don’t receive
Our answer right away.
Sooner, might be the answer
To others as their stay.

Someone prays for a bike
And we have one to give.
Someone prays for food,
And we help them live.

Someone prays for a computer
And we know how to fix.
Someone prays for helping hands
And we have two to pitch.

For receiving an answer –
Blessed.
But being an answer –
Double blessed.

As an answer to prayer,
God through us to strive,
Making us spiritually
Very much, Alive.
(Acts 20:35)

Joy Restored

Are you down in the dumps,
With problems quite a few?
Do you not see a way out,
Every way you view?

Did you stay away from church,
Because you were so low?
Did you want to stay alone,
Rather than fellowship know?

Then you went back,
A smile and handshake received,
A reminder of how God
Can work in your life as He leads.

With a thankful heart,
You once again shine,
As your joy is restored,
With renewal of your mind.

(John 15:5; Romans 12:2)

When we are feeling low, we may not want to go to church, but that is the best time for us to fellowship with each other.  That is the best opportunity to have our joy restored.

I really appreciate you dropping by this blog, and also my followers.
