Bb Minor to B# Major
Psalm 40:1-3
The days are very hard
With so much to do.
They make us marred
Being flat, our attitudes.
“Finishing” one thing,
Then something haps
And back it pings,
Being flat, strength saps.
Time to get some rest,
The body to restore,
But spiritually dispossessed,
Being flat, energy out poured.
Arise, oh person of God.
Be faithful to the task.
Our work’s for You.
Being sharp, note how it lasts.
Another morning’s coming.
The daylight here.
The gladness we’re feeling.
Being sharp, see how we’re endeared.
Resting in You.
That’s how we feel.
Lifting our hearts.
Being sharp, in a Love so real.

The music of our lives can go from a major key to a minor one in a matter of seconds. To get in tune with the Lord, we must constantly pray and watch for the schemes of the devil so we can get back into that major key again. “There’s within my heart a melody.” [Luther B. Bridgers – 1910]
