Where Will You Be on Thanksgiving Day?
Where will you be on Thanksgiving Day?
With Grandma and Aunt Kim,
Eating some roast turkey
With all the trimmings?
Where will you be on Thanksgiving Day?
Serving potatoes and greens
At the homeless shelter
To those with no means?
Where will you be on Thanksgiving Day?
At home by yourself
Enjoying a frozen dinner
Then the Book from a shelf?
Where you be on Thanksgiving Day?
Watching the game
From afternoon ’till night
With only one aim?
Where will you be on Thanksgiving Day?
Where it really counts – your heart.
Are you in a thankful place
For what God’s giving you?
Thankfulness to God that never departs?

There are many locations that someone might be on Thanksgiving Day, but most important is to truly be thankful to God from our heart wherever we are.
