Every Day’s A Good Day

Every Day’s A Good Day

Chorus:

Every day’s a good day
With Jesus in my heart.
Every day’s a good day
When evil does depart.

Every day’s a good day
Right from the start.
Every day’s a good day
With Jesus in my heart.

Verse 1:
Looking at those stormy clouds
I say it’s oh so bad.
I feel it’s not a great day
My face appears so sad.
I see beyond the clouds
To heaven above
And next I’m drenched
With God’s wondrous love.

Chorus

Verse 2:
I didn’t get a lot of sleep
And tossed and turned all night.
My eyes can barely open
And blurry is my sight.
I take each moment one by one,
Thankful for His sacrifice.
He helps me through the day
I trust in Jesus Christ.

Chorus

Verse 3:
I read the news today.
I think it’s not so good.
The day could be so frightening
In all likelihood.
Hard times are always with us
So why stew and fret?
The Savior guides me past them.
He’s never failed me yet.

Chorus

Verse 4:
Staying at my home sweet home
I shelter in place.
But really I now live
By God’s marvelous grace.
Wearing a mask and distancing,
I hope in His Son.
And then I dwell in beautiful peace
Because He’s my only One.
