A Common Error

A Common Error

To some, we live
In the year of our Lord – A.D.
To others, we live
In a Common Era – C.E.

Thus, not caring about
What marker divides all time,
Is a Common Error
Of many humankind.

For what happened in Bethlehem
Over 2,000 years ago,
Touched all lives –
Those loving Him or no.

So A.D. or C.E.,
It’s up to you to decide.
Will you through the ages
Know Christ or deny?

Did it seem like a long or short time since the last year started? We all think differently about time.  As people get older some think that time goes by more quickly.  It really depends upon the situation.  But no matter how we feel about time, we really do live in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ.
