Joyfully, All We People Come

Joyfully, All We People Come

Psalm 122:1

Chorus:

Joyfully, all we people come
To the House of the Lord.
Worshiping Him and praising Him,
Singing with one accord.

Thanking Him, all of us today
For coming to show His love.
Seeing what He’s done before,
Leaving from Heav’n above.

Verse 1:

Fellowship so very sweet,
Greeting all – everyone.
Smiling and laughing faces
Becoming one in the Son.

Listening now to His Word,
Quiet as we can be.
Letting His Spirit guide us
In His grace, we are freed!

Partaking of unleavened bread
And shimmering fruit of the vine.
Remembering Him on Calvary
As we spiritually dine.

Chorus:

Joyfully, all we people come
To the House of the Lord.
Worshiping Him and praising Him,
Singing with one accord.

Thanking Him, all of us today
For coming to show His love.
Seeing what He’s done before,
Leaving from Heav’n above.

Verse 2:

Stirring waters once again
As many go down inside.
Showing us through Baptism
He rose right after He died.

Giving to God – a cheerful time,
With deep joy in our hearts.
Out-giving God, how can it be,
Who showed us from the start?

Praying for one another,
Taking hands across the aisle.
Asking for Christian unity
And help with all our trials.

Ending Chorus:

Joyfully, all we people go
From the House of the Lord.
Telling ones all about Him
So they will be restored.

Thanking Him, all of us today
For coming to show His love.
Seeing what He’s done before,
Leaving from Heav’n above.

You’ll Know Where to Find Me

You’ll Know Where to Find Me

John 14: 1-4

I knew you long ago
And I met up with you today.
You could always find me here
Without any delay.

I’m still at the same old place.
That’s where I’ll always be.
I’ve lived here all my life,
So that’s where you can find me.

But someday, if I’m not around,
Don’t worry, fret, or stew.
You’ll know my brand-new abode.
It’s in the Book, that I gave to you.

You see I’m in a place that’s best
For a permanent time.
It’s a place of eternal rest.
It’s wonderful and sublime.

My new address, far from you,
Is simply number 777.
You’ll know it,
On that golden street called Heaven.

Sometimes we think that people can always be found at certain addresses if we want to contact them.  But things change and people move.  However, eventually, there is one place we know believers in Jesus Christ can always be found.  The Bible tells us that Jesus has not only prepared a beautiful place for us, but He will also take us there!

I appreciate my followers and those who visit.  May God richly bless each of you!
